The mission of Metson Marine Services, Inc. is to provide safe and efficient vessel and facility management services to our clients through the implementation of the Quality and Safety Management System.
QUALITY & SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM GOALS
It is our policy to provide ship and facility management services that are consistent with ISO 9001:2015 (ISO) and the International Management Code for the Safe Operation of Ships and for Pollution Prevention (ISM Code).
In keeping with the quality policy, Metson Marine Services has set the following goals to achieve companywide:
Goal: Protecting shipboard and shoreside personnel to ensure zero lost time injuries at each site by providing a safe and healthy workplace and encouraging all employees to identify potentially unsafe conditions or practices and undertaking corrective and preventive actions.
Goal: Improve personal and equipment safety by reporting observations and near misses locally and sharing across the company.
Goal: Ensuring all crew members are properly trained and all machinery is operated and maintained properly resulting in zero damage to vessels and facilities caused by improper operation or maintenance.
Goal: Allow zero oil or hazardous material spills by Metson personnel, there by protecting the environment by ensuring that the vessels and facilities are operated in accordance with applicable rules and regulations, that all hazards to navigation are identified, and that all procedures for waste management and fluid transfer are followed.
Goal: Understanding customer expectations and increasing customer satisfaction through continual improvement using feedback surveys or CPARS.
